Article: Solstice Points
Remember, the wheel goes round and round so sometimes you’re on top, and some times you’re not. How you treat your fellow travelers, does matter. Here’s how it works.
Earth revolves around the Galactic Center, Earth’s home in the Milky Way and the exact axis point is SAGITTARIUS at 27Sg50.
The Sabian Symbol imagery for 27Sg: The sculptor's vision is taking form. Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter. So, the opposite point is 27GE50, Gemini, ruled by Mercury.
The Sabian Symbol imagery for 27Ge: A young gypsy emerging from the woods gazes at far cities.
Keep a mental image of both Sabian Symbols as you read on.
A year on Earth is 12 months. The Sun treks across the horizon until it gets from one side to the other, and that takes exactly half a year. When it gets to a Solstice point, it has gone to its furthest extreme of that 6 month cycle. So the 2 Solstice points are the 6 month markers of cycles. Therefore, when we reach 27Sg the next stop is the Winter Solstice on 20/21 Dec as we enter 00Capricorn. And when we reach 27Ge the next stop is the Summer Solstice on 20-21 June we enter 00Cancer.
So at each Solstice, half of the zodiac embark on a new annual adventure or journey of expansion (Sagittarius and Jupiter). These folks find themselves at the top of the chart increasing in popularity and demand over the following 6 months. At the same time, the other half of the zodiac has now already experienced their midpoint travel and they’ve gone as far as they can go (Gemini and Mercury) so they begin to move through the bottom of the chart re-thinking choices and refining what they embarked on, and this lasts until they reach the next Solstice 6 months later. Then the roles reverse, again. Remember, the degrees of any sign are 00-29.

Winter Solstice begins 20-21 Dec with 00CAPRICORN and then 30 days each later we enter 00AQUARIUS, PISCES, ARIES, TAURUS, and Gemini.
GEMINI 27Ge50, opposite axis point of the Galactic Center.
Summer Solstice 20-21 June begins with 00CANCER then 30 days each later we enter 00LEO, VIRGO, LIBRA, SCORPIO, and Sagittarius.
Your birthday is when the Sun returns to the degree it was on the day you were born. It’s called your Solar Return and that’s why every year we say “Many Happy Returns”. You birthday is the start of your personal year ahead. Your birthday timing is also within the framework of the Solstice cycles.
