The Planet Table has dates, times and keywords of all 8 Geocentric Moon Phases in our current 30 day cycle.
Welcome
The Sun rules our ego, the self, our identity, our consicious will and behavior. The Moon rules our subconscious mind which is reflected through the magnifier of our emotions and it too leaks out through our behavior, actions and reactions. Most often our conscious and subconscious agendas are estranged from one another. So, what’s the big deal? We often create less than desirable outcomes in life and communications confusion and frustration within our own self-talk and in our relationships. We are also very easily influenced by those who are more knowledgable about how the subconscious works (advertisers come to mind).
Understanding the workings of the conscious and subconscious mind is one of the best investments you can make in life because you are your own best asset. Learn to think for yourself. The Moon is a natural teacher.
A Lunar Month averages about 29.5 days and the dates of each of the 8 Moon Phases change from year to year. The dates can be found on the Planet Table so mark your calendar accordingly.
For two weeks ouf of the month, the Moon Waxes and expands in light. It peaks at its fullness at the Full Moon and then begins to Wane and diminish in size for two weeks. Then the process repeats again. In our subconscious we are all emotionally motivated by the Moon’s Waxing and Waning, we feel it but most of us are not consciously aware that this is what’s happening. When we get back to basics and understand this process it’s much easier to understand our drives, motivations and behaviors. We also get some real clarity about our true aims, desires and real needs. Then we can bring our conscious and subconsious behavior into alignment and create real progress.
Phase 1of 8: New Moon Instructions - Brainstorm Ideas
Current dates for this phase
We all experience the Moon’s 8 Waxing and Waning Phases. During the days when the Moon is Waxing, initiated at the New Moon (Jan 8), the energy builds and expands, like a balloon becoming fuller by the hour, as we head towards the next Full Moon (Jan 22). Once the Full Moon has passed the Moon begins to Wane and appears to grow smaller and darker until we reach the dark of the Moon, the day before another New Moon emerges, taking us on a fresh 30 day-ish cycle. Some days where the Moon changes signs, so will our moods.
Let’s get started on “coaching/personal training using natural timing”. It’s fun, creative yet practical, healthy and positive, doesn’t have to cost a cent, and it’s easy for teens and adults of all ages. Check back every day for the next 30 days, for next step instructions.
"Ideas are like rabbits. You get a couple and learn how to handle them, and pretty soon, you have a dozen." ~ John Steinbeck
Every month, there is a New Moon although it does not coincide with the first day of the calendar month. The New Moon Phase gives us 3-4 full days to “brainstorm possibilities and projects without limits”.
What you need to get started.
Grab a pen, some scraps of paper, index cards, napkins. This is a great chance to recycle paper.
Put the paper and pen in your pocket or pocket book and keep it with you. Place extras in your car, next to your desk, and bed.
Grab a big bowl or container that you like. Place it in a spot where you can reach it but it won’t be disturbed or knocked over by people or pets.
It’ll prove helpful if you also use a calendar or daytimer that you mark up daily and keep your send/receive emails for awhile. It creates a trail that shows all of the activities you’ve been doing AND requests others are pitching or strongly suggesting to you. I’ll show you the true value of this around the Full Moon.
Next step, start brainstorming with YOURSELF like crazy. Who are you and what would you like to accomplish? What interests you to learn more about? What brings a smile to your face? The New Moon Phase gives us 3 full days to “brainstorm and dream of new possibilities without any judgement or limits”. And because this is a natural process (which you are now becoming fully conscious of by learning this coaching process), you won’t need to force enthusiasm for it either. And don’t over think things. Just vow to relax more, speak less, smile more, and soak up insight. Bright ideas will naturally come to your mind and through your spirit. Keep communications with others more on the minimal side at this point and stay open and positive. Let the inspiration come to you, it doesn’t have to be forced.
As the thoughts and wishes come to you, simply jot each one down on a scrap of paper, fold it once or so, put it into the large bowl, and then forget about it. Remain open to the next idea, thought or image.
These should be your own ideas big and small about what’s of interest, importance and of real value to you. The sky’s the limit so don’t censor yourself nor share these thoughts with others for their encouragement, feedback or opinion. At least not for now. And allow others the benefit and freedom to brainstorm thier own ideas, projects, and priorities, too.
Your goal for 3-4 days is to fill up the bowl so even if you see something you like in a picture in a magazine or such, then pop that or a copy of it in the bowl. Nobody else is going to see this stuff so do your own thing.
Don’t rush the process about which one is more important than the other, nor how you’d be able (or not) to do any of it. That stage comes in a few more days.

Want to know what the 8 Phases are, and when? Dates
If you are just joining us today, welcome to our astro coaching/personal training program using natural timing. You don’t have to know any astrology to harness the stars to make your dreams come true, and it’s simple for adults and teens at any age. There are 8 Moon Phases that occur within every 30 day cycle and we’ll be following them in sequential order. Each Phase has its own Instructions. Always begin by reading Phase 1: New Moon Instructions (shown below). While we can’t move the Moon backwards and New Moon is only in effect for 3-4 days you can look at your calendar or daytimer at your activiities and ideas around that time. What were you doing then? And what was of interest or importance to you that has since been pushed by the wayside? Get in touch with that now, no matter how small or large your idea or dream. Write all of it down now and begin the remaining Phases Instructions as they’re posted. Check back each day over the next 30 days, for next step instructions as they’re posted.
For those already participating in this free astro coaching program, go ahead and read about the Phase we’re in.
TIP: Work your stars. Get the maximum speed and lift of the New Moon working for you both in the foreground and background. Heres’ how.
If you already have a product or service that is 100% off the shelf, tested, and ready to go then get everything prepared now and promote/launch it around the days of the New Moon.
If you have a new interest, idea or project or service brewing or partially done (or stuffed in the drawer :-) then use the Cycles Planner to research, plan and complete it in the background over the next 30 days. Then, maybe you’ll really be ready to launch that one at the New Moon in April.
In other words, you can do both! If you’re in business, this strategy builds up your “investments and stock” on a stable foundation because your’re not constantly reviewing and revising nor are you losing revenue due to constant research and development getting stuck on the drawing board. There’s less risk and expense, better quality, plus greater value and savings you can naturally pass onto your customers and clients. It’s an authentic win-win strategy without slick marketing tactics.
Phase 2 of 8: Crescent Moon Instructions - Pick 1 or 2 Personal Goals
Current dates for this phase
This is when we take a few days to sort through our bowl of “idea notes” and decide on 1-2 of them as our priority project(s) for this month. We won’t toss out the unused ones, just set them aside. Remember, we’re only selecting the ones we feel strongly or passionately about. The ones we’re naturally drawn to. We’re not at the point of trying to figure out how we’ll accomplish our goal (that’s the next Phase). We could also sort and stack them into categories now, as some of them may have commonalities. At any rate, we’re organizing our ideas. Your top picks today, may seem like a “no brainer” selection on the surface. But hold on here and take your time with this task because you may change your mind or your heart a few more times as the Moon travels from Pisces to Aries to Taurus in the next hours and days while we’re still in Phase 2. At this Phase, we’re not sharing our ideas and choices with others, yet.
Phase 3 of 8: 1st Quarter Moon - Write a Plan
Current dates for this phase
Now that you’ve brainstormed ideas at the New Moon (Phase 1) and narrowed down your current selection to 1 or 2 of those (Phase 2) that are most meaningful to you at this ti me, and set aside all of your other ideas, it’s time to write a realistic plan of action (Phase 3) that shows how to make this happen. A Quarter Moon is a square aspect between the Sun and Moon. It presents us with circumstances or situations that want us to make a choice. Do this with a consicious atttitude for best reuslts. Writing a simple To-Do List works just fine. Write your Goal on top of the page, then make a list of actions that will need to be done to fullfil your goal. Also note the estimated time it will take, any costs involved, and names of resources. If you’re not sure of a cost or availablity, then start checking it out. During this Phase, it’s important that you end up with a goal and plan of action that is what you really want to be doing, and is also realistic and “do-able”. This builds confidence. If you begin to see that your goal or scope of the goal is not going to work out realistically, then rework the goal and the plan. Now’s the time to make adjustments to your plan. Stay within the “present moment” and wait to actually carry out the tasks at the next Moon Phase 4: Do the Tasks.
Phase 4 of 8: Gibbous Moon - Do Tasks on Your Plan
Current dates for this phase
This is meant to be taken literally but keep in mind that you have several days available during this phase.. Stay focused and “just do it” works best with this phase.
Phase 5 of 8: Full Moon - Present
Current dates for this phase
The New Moon Inspires, and two weeks later The Full Moon brightly illuminates
At the Full Moon we’re able to give ourselves a gift, a present. It’s the culmination of full throttle energy that began at the last New Moon and built up to the Full Moon. The Full Moon illuminates and shines on our emotional needs. Are you meeting your own emotional needs? If you’re working on a project dear to your heart, it’s time to stand back and eyeball what you’ve created. Perhaps your ready to share it with others? Maybe it’s still “a work in progress”. Whatever you decide, it’s a great time to be emotionally honest with yourself and to begin to relax a bit because the Full Moon is actually in effect for several days and each day it begins its descent into a Waning (decrease) of energy. The Full Moon delivers us the greatest present of all ... the gift of wisdom.
Phase 6 of 8: Disseminating Moon - Review Results
Current dates for this phase
Now it’s time to be more objective about things and share the knowledge and wisdom gained from experience. Others can benefit from your wisdom. Celebrate your success. During these few days make changes and adjustments based on what was revealed at the Full Moon. In some drastic cases, experience may have taught you that it is also time for you to change directions but unless that’s a very real situation, then it’s time to set aside what’s not working and going with what is working for you.
Stick to your project or effort and keep going.
Set aside what’s not working.
Make changes and adjustments based on what was revealed at the Full Moon.
Share your results in a thoughtful manner.
Be positive and stand up for your idea.
Pray/ Meditate/ Massage/ Energy Work/ Exercise/ Music/ Create/ Eat Right/ Go with the flow.
Phase 7 of 8: 3rd Quarter Moon - Consider Changes
Current dates for this phase
Quarter Moons often reflect crisis as we tend to see people and things through an “either | or” viewpoint which can block creative problem solving and even creative projects. A Quarter Moon is a square aspect between the Sun and Moon. Feelings, emotions and events can flip one way and suddenly turn in the other direction. Now it's time for action based on wisdom. Cover the most important priorities in life such as food for the hungry, shelter for the homeless, treatment for the sick and protection for the weary and weak. You have learnt much about yourself and the projects that you have undertaken. Put projects into their final form. Look back around the time of the Full Moon to see if complications entered the mix — they should be at a turning point now. Look at what is, and isn’t working. This may mean further developing your skills or a change of direction. Contemplate those changes now.
Positive results can be celebrated and taken to a new level in the next cycle.
Were your head and heart aligned when you embarked on this plan?
How do you feel about it now?
Positive thinking pays off big time now!
Phase 8 of 8: Balsamic Moon - Finish, Release, Relax
Current dates for this phase
Phase 8 marks the last days end of the the 30-ish day monthly cycle. It’s an important Phase because it's time to slow down and take stock - a time of contemplation. Your body, emotions, and mind need some rest. If you don’t do it now, then you will simply carry your attitude and worn out energy into the next new cycle, which can keep you running round the same old circles. So for now, this may mean letting go, saying good bye to a phase of your life and the end of some projects began at the last New Moon. You are experiencing a brief winter period before the next New Moon begins and you’ll want to be fresh and ready for the new energies and opportunities that will naturally emerge. The Universe may just surprise you.
Relax. Release it all.
Clean up your desk, work space, area and any mess. You’ll want to start afresh soon.
What you think about and believe now tends to manifest ten fold as situations in your world! Positive thinking really pays off especially during this Moon Phase.
Pray/ Meditate/ Massage/ Energy Work/ Exercise/ Music/ Create/ Eat Right/ Go with the flow.
Eat right and take healthy positive immune system builders.
At this last Moon Phase possibly you and others are now future-oriented. You may feel destiny plays a large part in your life, and may feel that you have some gifts in prophecy and leadership. This is not the time to begin anything new but rather rest and reflect.
This Phase sometimes brings feelings of frustration or restriction in some area of life but the important thing is to take sensible corrective action and remain very positive.
Pace your self, your time, your resources, and your energy now. Why? Like children who are obviously very tired after a long event but instead act all keyed up and not willing to take a nap ... it’s very important that we honor the natural call of Phase 8 to emotionally and physically release and refresh ourselves before we embark on a powerful new 30 day Moon Cycle.
New energy, fresh ideas and innovative solutions to old problems will come in naturally once the next New Moon is in effect again. In the meantime, the Moon is waning and most people are in need of rest and relaxation.
