All in all, an excellent day. Get an early start and complete important tasks but don’t be surprised if you encounter something unexpected. The remainder of the day looks good. It’s also a good night for social activities and creative projects and tasks.

Quality of life
Society has become more complex and fast-paced. Yet people’s basic needs have remained the same for ages. What we really want is health, happiness, food, shelter, protection and good relationships. As a general rule of thumb, when the Moon is Waxing it’s increasing, (New Moon through Full Moon) and you should be increasing new factors in your world. When the Moon is Waning it’s decreasing,(just after the Full Moon through Balsamic Moon) and you should be decreasing the unknown factors in your world. What the New Moon inspires, the Full Moon brightly illuminates two weeks later (one way or the other).

Geo and Helio perspectives
Mars is one of the many planets that Retrograde, so it’s Geocentric trek is different from Heliocentric timing. It often pluts the planet in a completely different zodiac sign. Distinctly different viewpoints. Here are a few examples.
- Where’s Mars?
- At this writing, Geocentric Mars the warrior and action planet leaves Fixed Leo and enters Fluctuating Virgo until August 19.
- However, Heliocentric Mars is at 27-28 degrees Virgo so it’s been in Virgo for quite awhile heating up words since 30 Apr 2008. Next up, Helio Mars enters the Cardinal partnership sign of Libra 06 Jul 2008.
- Where’s Mercury?
- Geo Mercury the messenger and communicator is in Fluctuating mental Gemini, but Helio Mercury is in Fluctuating emphathetic Pisces.
Also, if you’re reading Sun sign columns, understand that most of these are written using standard Geocentric calculations and therefore use Houses. So, you’ll want to look at your personal birth chart so that you can see which House a planet and sign have actually moved into, for you.
